Finnish newly established sporting goods startup seeks a European manufacturer of a training mat with experience in consumer goods and recyclable materials.

The newly established Finnish company specializes in innovative sporting equipment for private customers. The company will launch with one product first, a training mat, and expand to cover a complete product family eventually. The products to be manufactured later will include: - kettlebells - dumbbells - tube rollers - jump rope - flex band / rubber band - floor slider - yoga block - other similar products and parts. The products should be made from mainly recycled materials and sustainability should be at the core of operations. Resin and other natural and botanical substances may also be used in the production. The company is looking for a long-term partner to develop the first product, a training mat. The material for training mat could be cork, wood fiber, plastic, and the company wishes to discuss this with the potential partner and prototype the product. Therefore they appreciate a partnership with a consultative relationship. The agreement would be in the form of a manufacturing or subcontracting agreement, and at the beginning the ordering volume will be rather small (e.g. 100 pieces).
