The Maltese company has developed an innovative chemical - a super absorbent polymer (SAP) in a biodegradable membrane to be used in biological waste such as blood disposal as a coagulant. Once it is placed in contact with biological matter it will solidify the liquid turning it into a gel to avoid mess during spillage and ensure safety and cleaner environments. The de-watering agent significantly reduces the risk of contamination.
The membrane sachets are produced in different sizes depending on the intended final application.
The company can handle manufacturing 13 tons of packed material a month, equivalent to 45 pallets per month.
