An established North East UK company who sell weightlifting apparel are looking for experienced manufacturers to help produce some of their existing products and add extra CrossFit products to their range. The company now sell mainly within the UK and Europe and are seeking to expand to the USA in 2022. New manufacturing and supplier agreements are sought.
Description:
Based in the North East of England, the company sell products domestically and internationally across Europe with the current manufacturing taking place in Pakistan. They are looking to bring this closer to the UK in an effort to increase efficiency of their supply chain.
The company’s products have unique design registrations which have been at the forefront of design in this marketplace.
They have built a credible brand within this industry for over 10 years with strong links with many athletes. They are looking to relaunch their e-commerce platform, expanding their product range.
Currently their main products are weightlifting belts and other joint supports, these are produced in leather, elastane, neoprene and other fabrics. The designs of these products have important differences in colour, size, dimensions and prints. Metal work such as roller type buckles will also be required in some of the products’ construction.
As part of its expansion plans, the company wishes to expand production into CrossFit and Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy and therfore looking for a company that can manufacture these items too.
For both the current and new ranges, the company also requires packaging to form part of the manufacturers process.
The co-operation type will be via a manufacturing agreement and or supplier agreement.

The manufacturer is expected to have experience in the production of weightlifting and CrossFit and/or similar products. Through a manufacturing agreement, they would have to provide the products, packaging, and then ship to the business in the UK or other specified destinations.
The company are looking for a long-term partner that has good communication. They are very flexible in terms of understanding certain issues during manufacturing and are more than willing to discuss alternatives if issues occur. This partnership will be via a manufacturing agreement and or supplier agreement.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought:
The company requires quality materials and construction and sampling for new products.
The new and existing products would require stitch to leather, elastane, neoprene and various other fabrics including velcro type fasteners.
The packaging would need to be printed in accordance with the brand.
The company can provide the would-be manufacturer with samples of their already built products and design patterns for same and for sampling new products.
