Summary:
A Swiss high-tech SME produces electric motion devices, which are highly efficient, lightweight and programmable, with comparable price and dimension than actual pneumatic actuators. Since the company also offers consulting services, commercial agreements with technical assistance are sought. For the mass production of its electric direct-drive gripper, it is looking for a manufacturing agreement. Last, a technical cooperation agreement is sought for the improvement of its controller.
Description:
A pneumatic linear actuator is a core component of industrial manufacturing equipment, whose main function is to convert energy (in the form of compressed air) into mechanical motion to produce every type of goods. However, pneumatic actuators are one of the weakest links in a modern production chain, because they entail several important issues in terms of energy efficiency, equipment overall effectiveness (OEE), digitalization, predictive maintenance and mass product customization. The Swiss high-tech start-up aims at becoming the leader in the industrial machinery sector by developing innovative cost-effective electric machine components to accelerate the transition to a fully electric, sustainable and programmable industrial automation. Thanks to the modular, compact and lightweight design, the 100% electric linear actuators and direct-drive grippers of the Swiss company can easily fit any machine, suit any application needs and meet the most challenging industrial requirements in terms of security, productivity, reliability, sustainability and digitization. With a higher force density and better thermal dissipation, they offer better dynamic performance at lowest weight and dimensions with respect to linear motor technologies. They are fully programmable by the end user in an easy and simple way through the use of an end-user interface working via its electronics controller. There is no need for a software installation in comparison with existing technologies. The Swiss company not only produces a standardized version of its machine tools to be distributed worldwide with the help of a distribution network, but also directly offers consulting services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) through pilot projects for the development of a customized version of its product range. As a result, commercial agreements with technical assistance are sought to help OEMs integrate this innovative product in their machines. The Swiss company is also looking for a manufacturing agreement for the mass production of its electric direct-drive gripper and technical cooperation agreements for the improvement of its electronics controller in terms of industrial communication protocols.
