For self-reliance in society, the digital skills of children and youngsters need to be improved considerably. The cooperation would be in the frame of a research or a technical cooperation agreement. This request refers to an innovation challenge published on an open platform.
Description: 
The Dutch IT company has a focus on digital assurance and testing, cloud and digital manufacturing. Digital skills are very important in our society. Schools must adjust the curriculum the coming years. Dutch school teachers and leaders worked hard to develop a new curriculum for primary schools and high schools. An important part of this curriculum is digital literacy. For self-reliance in society, the digital skills of children and youngsters need to be improved considerably. Until now, business has played a very limited role. The latest IT knowledge is found in the IT sector. This knowledge becomes available earlier and faster, if education and IT companies start working together. It is a social responsibility that IT resources are used properly and that young people are aware of both the advantages and disadvantages The Dutch company is convinced that better cooperation between education and the IT-industry will ensure that the implementation of digital literacy takes place faster and the quality improves. They are looking for bright ideas for an effective mode of collaboration with schools; a so called ‘Digital Literacy Accelerator’. This could be through IT innovation, new collaboration models or any other smart solution. How can they shape such a ‘Digital Literacy Accelerator’ in a structured and future-proof way? The Dutch organization is open to different types of partnerships such as a research cooperation agreement or a technical cooperation agreement. IMPORTANT: This technology request refers to an innovation challenge published on an open internet platform. If an organization expresses interest before the closing date, it will be guided towards this open innovation platform. After registration participants can browse free through other submissions and engage in discussions. All submissions will get feedback by the company on this open platform. The challenge closes on February 17th 2020. Mind that posts on this platform are not confidential. Beside open discussions on the platform, sharing of confidential information will be made possible on demand. Role of partner: SME's are invited to share their ideas and propose their solutions. After being selected, the SME will be proposed to participate in the development of the requested solution. Other types of partnership can be offered and discussed with the Dutch company. They can offer the partner: • Interesting network; • A funded pilot project; • Introduction to relevant projects / platforms.
