By combining the basic and detailed design capabilities of the existing industrial fired heater, the company has developed and commercialized the steam methane reformer for on-site hydrogen refueling station for the first time in Korea. In relation to the petroleum replacement energy facility, a reformer product that manufactures a synthesis gas composed of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, which are core raw materials for petroleum replacement products, was developed and used for the first time in Korea. Steam-methane reforming produces syngas (mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide gas) by reaction of hydrocarbons with water and this method takes up to 95% of the worlds’ hydrogen production. The company has currently commercialized two types of product series that produce 250kg / 500kg hydrogen per day at 99.995% high purity with 77% of high efficiency. It also meets the national hydrogen impurity standard, ISO 14687-2. The company is now seeking a European partner to enter the global market, and the specifications of its product series are as follows. In addition to the steam methane reforming technology for hydrogen refueling station (HRS), the company is currently developing a 'plasma reactor which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions compared to existing hydrogen generator and also separates the carbon dioxide generated from the hydrogen generator. The company is putting much efforts to establish themselves as a leading company in the hydrogen economy by developing various methods to reduce carbon dioxide emissions as well as to explore ways for its application. Under the commercial agency agreement or distribution services agreement, the company hopes to cooperate with companies/ institutions with demands for steam methane reformer.
