Spanish technology centre, specialised in heritage, is offering a tech-service to use and manage into Revit 3D point clouds combined with multisource 2D imaging to face the study of the built heritage for proper documentation, protection, conservation, rehabilitation and dissemination actions under the building information model (BIM) approach. Research and technical cooperation agreement is sought, especially with construction and rehabilitation companies.
Description: 
Leading Spanish applied research centre, currently participating in 48 on-going international projects, and specialized in offering innovative solutions to companies to improve their processes, systems and products, bettering their competitiveness and creating new business opportunities, offers its knowledge on the use of BIM in built heritage. Multidisciplinary teams work in five fields of knowledge that correspond to different economic and technological sectors: industry, energy and environment, construction and infrastructures, agro-food and health and quality of life. Cultural heritage area is focused on tailored solutions (hardware, software and processes), including 3D modelling & simulation, decay assessment, monitoring, machine learning, artificial intelligence and big-data, applied internet of things (IoT), comprehensive management (building, urban and territorial scales) and heritage-led regeneration (urban and rural). The technologies offered by the cultural heritage area are: o product/service positioning: increasing demand of novel methods for the parametrical documentation and assessment of immovable heritage assets using point clouds and multisource images as raw input data. o foreseen service: tailored service (depending on the heritage immovable asset). o market trends/public acceptance: the European Directive 2014/24/EU imposes BIM level 2 for government centrally procured projects: collaborative process of producing federated discipline specific models. Technical cooperation agreement with companies, especially construction and rehabilitation industries, and research cooperation agreement with companies, universities or research and technology centres, interested in developing projects related to cultural heritage in European Union funding programs (H2020, Eurostars, Eureka, COSME, LIFE, etc.) are sought.
