AI has the ability to positively impact almost any area of an enterprise. Any company, especially the SMEs need to tackle this new technology to strengthen their competitiveness. One of the biggest barriers to AI adoption is lack of skills in AI coding and analytic experience*. The SME’s mission is to enable those SMEs to jumpstart their AI adoption.
AI can provide solutions in areas where traditionally no solution was possible and it will lead to a new industrialisation standard. “Less than half of European firms have adopted one AI technology, with a majority of those still in the pilot stage. AI initiatives remain fragmented in Europe, and investment in AI is nothing like the size of that in the United States or China. If Europe could develop and diffuse AI according to its current assets and digital position relative to the world, it would add some €2.7 trillion, or 20 percent, to its combined economy output, resulting in 1.4 percent compound annual growth through 2030”*.
The German SME is looking for industry & research organisation who need a bridge builder between fundamental AI research and AI applications. With their strong industrial background and a deep technical understanding of production and product development processes as well as AI algorithms and solutions, they speak the language of both domains. Hence, they foster the transition of AI research to economic use cases as well as the translation of industrial requirements to AI research projects.
Together with their partners the SME develops best practice AI methodologies and selects a suitable AI approach. Once the partner has provided the necessary data they will be processed and the new strategy will be implemented on a small scale (prototype) up to the final application.
The company is looking for a commercial agreement with technical assistance with organisations in need of AI solutions. Together with the partner the SME will develop individual AI solutions within an industrial environment to maintain and strengthen the partner’s competitiveness.
