A French SME, founded in 2006, recognized expert for fumes and dusty air depollution. The company design depollution solution from the intake to the outlet in the atmosphere. Its field of expertise cover appropriate intake, removal of pollutants with dry reagent, air/air cooling system, cyclonic filter, baghouse filter, fan, silencer, chimney and HEPA filter. Based on its know-how, the company proposes made to measure solution to rewamp various baghouse filter types (Pratt Daniel, Powel Duffryn, Lühr, Genevet, etc). Indeed old baghouse filters are sometime a source of trouble: • Breakdown leading to repeated production shutdowns and unplanned maintenance operations. • Ineffective cleaning system resulting in frequent cleaning cycle, high pressure drops, lower flow rate, higher energy consumption and shortened filtering elements life. • Regular or accidental air pollution due to damaged sealing between the clean chamber and the crude gas chamber or damaged filtering elements or reduce filtering surface due to dust accumulation in the crude air chamber. Rewamping of baghouse filter with a rewanping kit is a cost-effective solution to upgrade baghouse filter with modern filter elements and efficient cleaning system. The operating cost are reduced, and the atmospheric emission are lowered. The French firm develops and supplies kits made to measure. Generally, a kit contains: • Filtering elements, their support cages and sealing systems. • Perforated front panel and holders to hold filtering parts. • Cleaning system including compressed air tank, electro valves and injector tubes. • Specific plates and pipes to connect electro valves and injector tubes. As soon as a casing is not damaged, a flat baghouse can easily be installed to replace the old baghouse. Flat baghouse is a compact design that offer an important filtering surface per cubic meter. It’s a proven and efficient solution for fumes and dusty The French firm designs perforated front panels, holders, compressed air tank and injector tubes that fit with the existing casing. The perforated panels are designed to bring an efficient sealing between crude gas chamber and clean chamber. The filtering elements can cover a range of length from 1 meter to 2.8 meters. If needed, the French firm can add doors, hood, decompression chamber, casing reinforcement, plenum both for crude gas inlet and clean gas outlet. Installation of a rewamping kit to turn a baghouse filter into a flat baghouse one generally consists in: • Removing the filtering elements. • Removing the cleaning system. • Removing the front plates and holders (if there is any). • Installing new front plates, holders and casing reinforcement (if there is any). • Installing the specific plates to connect tank and injector tubes (the tanks are preinstalled on the plate in our factory). • Installing the flat baghouses, supporting cages and mouth parts. • Installing the injector tubes. • Connecting the tank to the compressed air. The French firm is looking for installers or maintenance companies able to cover the rewamping with kit of parts designed and delivered by the company under technical cooperation agreement.
