Buildings energy performance analysis

A Spanish technology center, funded in 1994, offers transversal, integrated and innovative solutions to companies to improve their processes, developments, systems and products. It operates in five economic sectors: i) industry, ii) energy and environment, iii) construction and infrastructure, iv) agro-food, and v) health and quality of life. To improve the energy efficiency in building is becoming critical due to high demand for energy and unsustainable supplies of it. Improvements in energy efficiency are generally achieved by adopting a more efficient technology or production process or by application of commonly accepted methods to reduce energy losses. In the case of buildings, shall be added the design and materials used during the construction phase. The technology center has a wide experience in evaluate and find energy customized solutions. The service offered consists in the analysis of the energy settings of the building, the identification of potential costs savings, the improvements of the energy efficiency, based on renewable energy solutions. The methodology followed is based on the analysis of the systems of the building, the energy flows and the elements that can affect the energy consumption and loss. The center offers its services and know-how to those partners interested in: - Investing in obtaining innovative solutions to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. - Obtaining sharp and detailed analysis and solutions, not only focused on diagnosis. The type of collaboration sought is a technical cooperation agreement with owners/managers of factories, buildings, charge stations, suppliers, warehouses companies, buildings, charge stations, suppliers and warehouses interested in improve the energy efficiency of buildings. The technology center is also interested in research cooperation agreement with entities (companies, universities or research and technology centers) interested in participate in EU funding programs in topics related to energy efficiency.
