Czech manufacturer of the novel, non-toxic and ecologic biocidal product for removing of fungi growing on interior plasters and walls seeks distributors.

Fungi is all around us on this planet and it plays an important part in our ecosystem, but inside the buildings their effects are detrimental and can cause various health problems. For this reason it is important to be aware of the areas in buildings (commercial, industrial and residential) where fungi can form and once it forms, it is important to remove it effectively. Currently used methods are mainly chemicals-based, temporary in effect and have negative side-effects on our health. Therefore, a Czech company has been established in 2006 in order to carry out R&D in area of microbiology with a goal to develop powerful ecological products with microbially efficient substances against various kinds of mildews and molds. They managed to develop a novel composition based on a proprietary strain of mycoparasite Pythium oligandrum whose life, basically, depends on eating harmful fungi appearing on the indoor walls while it remains inert to a humans and environment. The microorganism consumes unwanted fungi, it penetrates parasitic hyphae of the fungi and deposits nitrogen, carbon and sterols for use in its own reproduction process. Actually, it produces enzymes that simplify penetration of hyphae. Once unwanted fungi is eliminated, the microorganism becomes dormant sustaining its ability for survival and re-expansion. It works namely against most common fungi strains like Aspergillus, Alternaria, Cladosporium and Penicillium. The novelty is provided in a form of whitish water soluble powder and its self-life is 2 years since the dated of its production. The product has a long-lasting effect (1-5 years) depending on circumstances. For example, it was tested in India during several monsoon seasons and it showed remarkable effficiency. It is ready for direct use on indoor walls or it is possible to blend it with gypsum and other building materials, it can also accompany interior paints. The company seeks distributors supplying to companies providing sanitation and disinfections of commercial and/or residential sites, distributors of sanitation products, suppliers to DIY stores, stores selling building materials and home cleaning products (e.g. drugstores). Also suppliers to producers of interior paints and building materials are also welcomed as they can use the product as an additive to their current portfolio of products.
