Description: 
The need to make the world of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and technologies accessible to an ever greater type of users, has led a group of entrepreneurs located in the central Italy, specialised in ICT and EAC (Architecture Engineering Construction), to create a digital ecosystem that aims to enter the world of digitalization. This ecosystem, based on the synergy between BIM, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with the digitalization of the entire process, allows to integrate in a single digital model the useful information in every phase of the life cycle of a boat, allowing the different actors of the building process who intervene before, during and after the project, to coordinate, on a single database, the own knowledge. With the digitalization of the entire process, it is possible to change the decision-making process with a reduction of possible design errors, costs and times, obtaining product optimization, making a significant change not only in the representation techniques, but in the way to think and plan an intervention. It is possible both to move within the project and to view the information present in the models (BIM), by accessing the database, structured by levels: from administrative documents (titles, any restrictions, authorizations, etc.), to architectural, plant, structural projects, to the technical data sheets of the individual elements that make up the models (digital archive). It also allows to insert and change elements within the project, choosing them from a library of components on the market, and which can be connected to an e-commerce system or a warehouse. It is an implementable model, with changes and further developments on request of the user, together with data management and maintenance in remote way. The partners sought are SMEs, industries, universities and/or R&D institutions involved in the maritime sectors, that are interested or to implement their knowledge in BIM, AR, VR and AI (via outsourcing agreement) or to optimize the design and management processes of their assets with the use of the digital ecosystem (via subcontracting).

Type of Partner Sought : The team is looking for international partners (SMEs, industries, universities or research centres) in which the digital platform could be useful to implement planning or management, with technical assistance, for operators involved in the naval and maritime sectors. Role of Partner Sought : The team is looking for partnership via outsourcing or subcontracting agreements. Preferred partners would be: For outsourcing agreement: design and management company interested to implement its knowledge in BIM, AR, VR and AI with technical assistance. For a subcontracting contract: company which needs a database, digital ecosystem, to optimize the design and management processes of its assets. The team is open to discussing further types of cooperation.
