Nowadays, the research projects of universities, NGOs and other organizations working in the non-profit domain quite often include IT components. On the other hand, those institutions do not necessarily have the relevant (number of) experts to develop those parts of the projects. Therefore, they have either to hire (more) experts, which can face budget and managerial limitations, moreover the tasks to be accomplished are temporary, or to use an external organization to provide the necessary expertise and know-how. Facing the trend of more and more intensive inclusion of such organization in research projects with IT elements, incl. based on external funding, many companies from the IT sector tend to offer services in the field of digitalization in research projects without having the corresponding experience and track record in the field. A Bulgarian company working in the field of software development wants to further expand its activity internationally through appropriate research partnerships. Its team aims to join a relevant consortium where to contribute with its expertise and know-how. The last is available for the realization of the IT components/dimensions of research projects and includes the following categories: - analysis and design, - UI/UX design (user interface/user experience), - development, - quality assurance, - delivery and integration, - training - and support.
