A French producer of outdoor sun shades (umbrellas), shade sails and pergolas is searching for a supplier of specific textile fabrics.

The French SME has 10 employees and already collaborates with clients and suppliers abroad. The company was created in 2010 and has known a sustained growth for the last few years now. They conceive and create parasols, shade sails and pergolas. They own some patents that give them a competitive advantage on the design and reliability of their products. They plan to keep growing and expanding their product lines in the outdoor furniture field (cushions, footstool, table, chairs) They would like to find a European partner so that they can have a reliable, long lasting supplier of fabrics for parasols, shade sails and pergolas. Therefore, they are searching for a supplier or raw materials for parasols canopy, pergolas canopy and shade sails canopy (technical textile fabrics), as well as a company / subcontractor for the sewing, assembling and cutting tasks to make to a high-quality finished product. The supplier of technical textile fabric should be able to answer to the following criterias : - The fabric should be made of POLYESTER, High-Density Polyethylene or ACRYLIC. Other innovant materials are welcome. - The weight should be between 200 and 250gramms per square meters - It should resist to color fastness (at least 6/8) - High solar protection (UV Protection Factor 50+) - Waterproof (30mmWC) The supplier should be able to provide fabrics answering those criterias. Quantities produced can vary with time from 500 to 5 000 units and the supply can vary accordingly. Finding a supplier of technical textile fabrics in Europe answering these criterias would be a great opportunity for this French SME to have a reliable long-term partner to build high-quality, long lasting products. Such a collaboration would go under supplier or outsourcing agreement.
