German textile manufacturer is looking for contract sewing company under manufacturing agreement

Since 1910 the German company developed and manufactured products for the domestic industry. It started with a leather and belt drive factory. In addition to technical leather goods, hand leather, aprons and leather protective clothing were also manufactured for the emerging industry. After World War II, when the industry started rebuilding, briefcases and leather coats were made for private use. The stronger the industry was growing, the greater was the demand for protective leather articles. Welding gloves, heat protection gloves and strong leather gloves were again manufactured. The company developed special leather qualities, like chemical resistant glove leather for coal mining or heat resistant leather for metallurgical works and foundries. Due to the progressive development of technical fabrics, which partly replaced leather, the owners founded a new company in 1984. The object of the company was the production and distribution of heat protection clothing, heat protection gloves and work gloves made of technical textiles with special leather qualities. The company offers a manufacturing agreement to a sewing company with experience in sewing gloves. The material would be tailored by the German company and should be sewn together by the garment maker.
