Intelligent first aid kit with controlled monitoring of its content

A Spanish entrepreneur, with specific know how in first aid systems, has patented an innovative first aid kit which allows monitoring of the patient medical parameters and tracking of the kit content facilitating and improving the assistance by the doctor or organization responsible for providing medical care in charge of first aids. Access to the intelligent first aid kit is restricted to its owner through a microchip integrated card so the data remains private. Any input or output of first aid kit stuff is registered as the result of the existence of an electronic bar code reader, so all the material added or extracted (consumables or drugs) could be track . The invention results in: a) An accurate tracking of the first aid kit content, b) A drug savings for public health administration thanks to its interoperability with the healthcare network, which allows preventing redundant prescriptions and optimization of drugs consumption. c) A correct monitoring of the patient history by his/her family doctor. The entrepreneur wants to develop the prototype (in collaboration with a Spanish technological centre), and seek additional partners for the initial collaborative project, the further development and the future management of the results. The partners sought are healthcare institutions involved in the implementation of digital organisation of cares and digital transformation and/or ICT/medical devices or e-heath companies which want to develop this connected device prototype. The type of collaboration sought is financial, manufacturing and/or technical cooperation agreement. The entrepreneur is also interested in collaborations under European collaborative projects with research centres and other healthcare companies.
