The system delivers exceptional Probability of detection (Pd) and low False Alarm Rates (FAR). The Electronic Solid-State Taut Wire PIDS is a physical barrier combined with high-performance sensors. It incorporates a single electronic detector per zone, which collects and aggregates signals from many wires. These are robust and highly immune to corrosion, marine atmosphere, and EMI (electromagnetic interference)/RFI (Radio Frequency Interference).
