A Korean SME is looking for distributors for its IoT-based medical fluid monitoring technology

The Korean SME has developed a micro-optical sensor to measure the volume of medical fluid. An affiliated research institute of the Korean SME is planning to export and target the market of ICT-based remote medical devices. The SME is entering Europe, South Africa, China and Indonesia markets with their IoT-based smart monitoring system for medical fluid.As such, they are looking for distributors in Europe with a wide network with hospitals to partner for a distribution agreement.
The SME has gained wide recognition for launching the smart medical device based on the Internet of Things (IoT) due to its technological capability. Along with the function of counting, calculating, and managing droppings, their product solution can easily monitor fluid from outside the hospital room using wireless networks such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The device combines both convenience and stability so that medical practitioners can check the infusion of fluid treatment by using the information from the solution (device and application) in real time using a smartphone app or PC. They have received great responses from the domestic market and has also advanced into the Indian market to successfully enter the global market. The device measures the volume of the fluid, using a micro-optical sensor. In order to prevent malfunctions that can be caused by external noise, it modulates the voltage signal to isolate the transmitted and received modulation signals. Also, through server-client-based smartphone apps and web(PC), it provides information about the amount of fluid remaining and the fluid infusion time to the patient, the nurse and the doctor who is on the remote system. For this profile, they are looking for partners in Europe that would be interested to enter into distribution services agreement with the Korean SME.
