LC-SC3-EE-4-2019: Home appliance manufacturers willing to develop smart users interfaces to interact with cloud-based energy management platforms

The Andalusian company is specialized in engineering services and quality control in the field of construction, encouraging right from its outset values such as knowledge, innovation and technology, with its aim always set on quality and corporate responsibility in all of its activities. They offer theirs services in the following areas: Engineering, Geotechnics, Health and Safety, building, Control of Materials and Product certification / CE Marking. They are looking for a company to home appliance manufacturer role for the topic LC-SC3-EE-4-2019 relating “upgrading smartness of existing buildings through innovations for legacy equipment”. The company must be interested in developing users’ interfaces and APIs for their products (smart home appliances). The whole solutions entail automation and communication technologies with control algorithms and web services compatible with the current smart grid standards. The current consortium is composed of companies and research centres that covers energy building optimization (consumption, generation and storage) and grid flexibility with solutions to enable the energy balancing for district heating facilities. The existing consortium has participated previously in a similar project and the aim is to advance a step forward in previous developments to increase the Technology Readiness Level (TRL). Home appliances will be installed in pilot buildings in two different European countries and the developed API will interact with a comprehensive system that entails to provide further information to users and optimize energy resources. The expected duration of the project is 3 years. Please note that deadline for EOIs is 23 August 2019 and call deadline is 10 September 2019.
