The analytics talent upskilling is one of the key advantages of Analytics academy is a web-based portal developed by the company´s software development team using Microsoft net technology and SQL (Structured Query Language) server database.
According to the upskilling methodology designed in Analytics academy, the analytics talent upskilling will be used in two phases: pre-assessment to evaluate the existing level of analytics knowledge in skills for trainees, and post-assessment to measure the upskilling progress after attending the suggested training programs.
The methodology helps human resources ‘managers not only to have a structured and quantifiable upskilling plan for their workforce based on identified skill gaps, but also to be able to evaluate the training progress for each trainee through the progress report delivered after post-assessment.
Microsoft teams and zoom technology are used in Analytics academy to setup a solid online training environment in which both trainers and trainees can communicate through theoretical and practical sessions. The training team of Academy consists of a team of senior data scientists and university professors with PhD degrees and professional certificates in the Big Data analytics domain.
In the current stage, the Academy provides upskilling plans in the data analytics area. All companies and organizations that plan to reskill or upskill their workforce to build their own in-house data science team can be clients of the Analytics academy. Furthermore, all recruiter companies and universities can also use the platform to measure the existing level of analytics knowledge and skills for candidates and students in a structured and quantifiable method.
Currently, the Analytics academy is active in Portugal and Mozambique with more than 16 online big data analytics courses. For the next phases of the project, there is this possibility of adding other subjects to the Academy as well, such as accounting, IT, software development, finance, and marketing.
