Summary:
Russian company, which is engaged in the production of paper and cardboard from wastepaper raw materials with an antibacterial coating, is looking for partners to conclude a distribution agreement.
Description:
The Russian company from Kemerovo was founded in 2010. The company has become a successful developer in the field of of paper and paperboard that is widespread-used in Russia during the last 10 years. The company is engaged in the production of paper and cardboard (fluting and testliner) from wastepaper raw materials with an antibacterial coating. Modern packaging is the final element of a single chain that includes packaging materials-product-equipment-filling and packaging processes-sale of the packaged product. Packaging in this closed system is responsible for maintaining the quality of the product and its safety, makes a significant contribution to the ergonomic and economic feasibility of packaged products, and their promotion on the market. New ones are added to the classic functions of packaging, such as barrier properties, antimicrobial activity, long-term resistance to the action of cold-heat cycles and many others inherent in "active" packaging. The latest advance in packaging is the creation of "active" useful packaging. Active packaging implies the inclusion of certain excipients in the packaging material in order to ensure and increase the shelf life of the packaging product. In 2016, the company began working on the development of a technology for the production of paper with antimicrobial properties for the food, pharmaceutical and medical industries based on silver clusters. Silver nanoparticles are obtained by chemical reduction of silver nitrate in the presence of a stabilizer by the "Drop synthesis" method with intensive stirring. The reduction reaction takes place in a chemical reactor, which makes it possible not only to automate the synthesis of colloidal silver and obtain a product of stable quality, but also to significantly reduce the synthesis time and laboriousness of its implementation. Antimicrobial paper based on silver clusters is designed to prevent losses, maintain quality and ensure the biological safety of food at all stages of production and subsequent storage. Antimicrobial properties are achieved by spraying a silver solution onto the paper web during the manufacturing process. • Paper allows to maintain the quality and ensure the biological safety of food at all stages of production and subsequent storage (creation of active useful packaging); • It also helps to reduce the risk of food poisoning, due to the silver ions included in the composition, which have various antimicrobial effects-from bactericidal (the ability to kill microbes) to bacteriostatic (the ability to prevent the development of mold, the penetration of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and other microbes); • Eventually, it helps to increase the shelf life of perishable products by two to three times (relevant for sausage and meat products). The Russian company is looking for foreign partners to conclude a distribution services agreement. It is focused on business cooperation (international / interregional). The company wants to expand abroad with growing production and therefore they wish to find new partners - distributors, capable to roll out the products on their markets, based on distribution agreements.
Type (e.g. company, R&D institution…), field of industry and Role of Partner Sought:
Types: SMEs, large enterprises from any sector. Role: The company is looking for reliable partners for long-term cooperation. Under the distribution agreement, the Russian company will supply the necessary equipment to the partner for the subsequent sale. The company is ready to provide its partner with the necessary products. The partner, in turn, must provide the geography of product distribution, relevant documentation and information.
