This perimeter intrusion detection system (PIDS) solution by the Singapore company can be mounted on different types of fences, gates, walls, and can also be buried where no physical barrier exists. The system uses discrete fiber sensors that are embedded in the optical fiber cable to form an array of sensors. Slight disturbances to the physical perimeter picked up by the fiber sensor translates into an intrusion alert. This patented technology detects actions that are deliberately restrained to defeat most conventional systems, such as ladder on fence post, melting off cable ties that hold cable to the fence. Unlike conventional systems can be knocked out by a single cut to the sensor cable allowing intruder to escape undetected some where away from the point of entry, this system has a segmentised design that will survive a cut to the cable and yet still detect both entry and escape. The system pin points intrusion event where it happens instead of providing just a zonal indication, guiding your security team to locate a breach quickly. Below is an operational concept of the system. 1) An intruder attempts to cut or scale a fence or wall with the PIDS. An alert is triggered to the operations centre. 2) As a first layer of sensors the system is relied upon to trigger other integrated mitigation measures such as CCTV cameras, sirens/lights, drones. 3) Counter measures are then quickly dispatched to the location where the intrusion has taken took place. 4) The intruder is apprehended before any damage is done. The desired outcome for the partnership is for the European partner to distribute the Singapore company's products in major European cities. The partner should be one distributing defense products in Europe. The partnership is achieved through distribution partnership agreement.
