Description:
An internationally awarded design studio from the Primorska region develops and designs interior and exterior wooden furniture. Several innovative furniture systems are patented (by Slovenian Intellectual Property Office) and developed into user-friendly furniture designs. Environment-friendly production follows the zero-waste concept.
The studio with a professional and experienced team in technical sciences and technology as well as skilled in industrial design, applied environmental psychology and living environment design is offering development wide spectra of new furniture systems, products, and technological know-how, along with licenses of already developed designs to the companies aiming to produce advanced contemporary furniture.
In products natural or nature-based materials are preferred. Predominant materials used in designs are solid wood, plywood, and bentwood. The use of local sustainably produced materials, particularly wood, is considered according to availability at the production site. The use of materials, technologies, and procedures that could harm the environment are avoided at the maximum possible rate.
The company offers cooperation under licencing agreement, manufacturing agreement, distribution services agreement and outsourcing agreement to companies at four levels:
1. Licencing agreement of an already developed design. According to the licence contract a partner is entitled to produce a single design or a collection of designs already developed by the studio. The offer includes designs, know-how, and support as well as possible minor variations and modifications. The design process includes 3D digital virtual models, and physical models and prototypes.
2. Manufacturing agreement and distribution services agreement is a possibility for furniture manufacturing companies to buy already existing product design for production, which they can sell through their own distribution network.
3. Short-term/one project design under outsourcing agreement for the development of the new product, furniture collection, or system. The offer includes design from scratch or severely modified other designs by the studio, according to the partner's requirements.
4. Long-term design under outsourcing agreement following the evolutionary design concept: continuous systematic development of products, collections, and systems. A new project starts from scratch or it is based on one or more systems already developed by the studio. New or/and renewed designs evolve in every evolutionary stage. In every next stage designs are upgraded, modified or new ones are developed, based on an experience from previous stages and according to the partner's new requirements. This concept encourages an integral long-term relationship with the partner including development and manufacturing as well as sales and marketing. The design process includes 3D digital virtual models, and physical models and prototypes.
