Slovenian company was founded in 2013 with focus on providing services on the field of lean manufacturing operations consulting. A team of experts has theoretical and practical knowledge and experience with different aspects of lean manufacturing, production optimization, process planning and logistics. In the past years they cooperated with domestic and foreign companies from different sectors like automotive, glass production, chemical, textile and electric power industry, along with services companies. Lean manufacturing in the business environment is focused on removal of those operations and steps, that cause different types of losses and/or do not provide any value added to the final products or services. As a result, the amount of required time for each process is reduced, less resources are necessary and overall, greater efficiency is achieved. Due to specific characteristics of every single process within each organization, the Slovenian company initially identifies and analyzes existing losses, that can be connected with overproduction, waiting time, transport, stocks, product defects or some other types of losses. As a proven method in this phase, company experts visit their clients to obtain necessary information for preparation of services, that will answer the challenges of specific company. The company is especially successful in the following areas: • staff training on any level - from blue-collar to top managers • company costs reduction • business strategy developments • work in progress reduction • stock level decrease • manufacturing time reduction • space occupation reduction • quality improvement One of their main activities is organizational analysis that includes definitions of the processes taking place in the area of production and logistics, together with an indication of the possible savings factors and the ways how to achieve them. After identification of losses and unnecessary tasks is completed, the set of actions and necessary steps are defined for reorganization in terms of lean manufacturing. To implement changes in the organization processes, company experts prepare production workshops for physical process reorganization change, improvement in material and information flows leading to the time and place occupation savings, stock level reduction, lead time improvement. These activities include training and implementation for the executive staff and operators. Another crucial part is training for production workers giving detailed information about how to build and maintain lean manufacturing culture and continuous improvement philosophy (Kaizen). Around 80 % of their consulting services is performed in production processes, since this is essential part for appropriate implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
