Smart tank cleaning solution

Particularly after heavy rainfalls and the resulting impounding of basins and other storage volumes, the dirt and sludge from the sewers and roads remain in the basin. It accumulates on the bottom of the basin, on the walls and, in the case of underground reservoirs, even under the ceiling. The traditional cleaning methods are physically tiring and time-consuming, and thus very costly. A German SME that has 40 years of experience in the water industry developed a complete solution for channel and tank cleaning to solve the above challenges. The solution consists of a smart machine and IT software. It applies optical sensors and IoT precipitation data. Thus it enables an effective, dynamic and optimal cleaning process as well as energy-efficient operation. Cleaning action is only taken when and where it is needed. Furthermore the solution is characterised by a long service life of the smart machines and low operational and maintenance costs. The amortization of the product is achieved from the fourth year. Partners from water-related sectors are sought for commercial agreements with technical assistance. The smart tank cleaning solutions will be integrated in the processes and projects of the partner with the assistance of the German company who will offer, e.g. process design support or training.
