Summary:
Spanish IT start-up offers brand-new AI engine based on natural language, which can learn from both structured and non-structured information. The engine is available in Spanish and can be used to automate business internal processes, like telemarketing, client customer services, or HR selection. Suitable for all sorts of companies working in/expanding to Spanish-speaking countries, it especially fits medium-to-MNEs. They offer technical cooperation for deployment&support or license agreement.
Description:
In an era where every company needs to be a tech company and online working has become the norm, digitizing the end-user experience, enhancing IT architecture, or redesigning tech organization are among the most likely transformations pursued over the next two years. However, these tech transformations remain difficult and complex, with about 50% of companies still being in a pilot phase. In such a context, the EU considers R&D on Artificial Intelligence (AI) a top priority for the upcoming Horizon Europe programme and beyond. In particular, AI efforts to communicating with machines through human -natural- language (Natural Language Understanding or NLU) can ease processes, save time and provide more tailored outputs. Current AI chat bots or voice bots on the market, while increasingly common, are based on pre-configured dialogs set by the customer. This architecture restricts communication with them to a series of pre-loaded conversations, thus providing limited interaction with people. The AI engine described here -developed by an IT, Spanish start-up- represents a disruptive approach compared to the existing technologies. Instead of analysing texts statistically, the engine replicates the human way of thinking, focusing on the words’ meaning (semantics). Machine learning based on NLU focuses on verbs and lets subjects and adverbs play semantic roles. This way the engine is able to interact with people in a natural way, conjugating verbs, understanding synonyms, and considering aspects such as context or aim of the speaker, thus widening conversation possibilities. The resulting engine is able to learn human language related to processes by reading (or listening to) and digesting specific documentation provided by the customer and related to those processes. In this way the engine can extract key information from conversations or documents whose listening or reading would take hours to staff. This approach makes the engine totally different than IA applications developed by large American and Asian corporations. The engine is available in Spanish and can be used to automate business internal processes that may imply chat bots. These processes may include Call Centres, telemarketing, Customer Services, or Human Resources selection (f.e., management of the candidates’ internal documentation -CV, motivation letter…-, filtering of interviews, etc.). This makes the engine especially suited for medium-to-large corporations used to deal with large numbers on a daily basis, though it can be used by companies of all sizes. This development is thus interesting for any business working in Spanish-speaking markets or planning to extend its operations to them. The engine is provided to the customer on a ready-to-be-deployed basis with the technical support of the start-up developers or as a license agreement.
