UK designer and manufacturer of gaming accessories specialising in gaming products such as controllers, headsets, chargers and chairs for consoles is looking for new distributors.
The business is an innovator in the gaming accessories sector. The company’s management has 20 years experience of gaming including time at leading hardware players such as Nintendo and Sega. They have worked with designers and factories in Asia for the last 10 years on developing premium accessories products for the international trade. The brand is trusted and has been selected by leading retailers in the UK and elsewhere. The product range is designed for consoles and more recently for mobile phones. The company is ambitious and has existing plans to support new formats including the new generation of consoles and streaming platforms. The company works with high quality factories in China and Taiwan and has a lot of experience in developing product to a high standard meeting all certification standards in the process. The company has worldwide licensing deals with Microsoft and The Coca-Cola Company to provide differentiation in the market. The first phase of products will come to market in 2021 with a roadmap of further stock keeping units (SKUs) planned for 2022 and 2023. Products are sold in the UK with some international partnerships already agreed (Spain, Portugal, USA, Canada, South Africa and Greece). It is looking for new distributors to develop its access to international markets and increase their sales abroad under a distribution services agreement. Ideally distributors would have operations across a number of markets to streamline the buying and logistics process with experience of selling hardware (consoles, handsets or PCs) being advantageous in the creation of hard bundle opportunities The company would like distributors to handle in-bound logistics to allow FOB (Free On Board) Asia terms. Testing of faulty goods would be welcomed. It is particularly interested in finding new distribution partners in France, Scandinavia, Benelux, Asia and Poland.

Distribution partners working under a distribution services agreement should have an established understanding of the accessories market (console, PC or mobile). The partner should have the capability to work with all the major retail players in the gaming or mobile sectors – these channels should include specialist stores (or telecom retail in mobile telephony), mass merchants, grocery, on-line and electrical chains, ideally have a sales team capable of managing these channels and a trade marketing function to deliver promotions into different retailers. The Coca Cola deal will require partners to be able to think imaginatively about potential listing opportunities and to leverage the Coca Cola brand with grocery retailers and lifestyle / fashion stores
