Summary:
A UK company specialised in developing 3D models and virtual environments, road and rail driving simulator environments, 3D visualisation, simulation, and virtual reality experiences, is offering its capabilities through subcontracting or outsourcing agreements.
Description:
Established in 2012 this UK company specialises in the development of bespoke 3D solutions, including 3D visualization applications, virtual reality (VR) experiences and simulations. The directors have a wealth of experience and expertise in visualization, 3D modelling and simulation and work with a wide range of clients across a number of sectors including but not limited to transport, construction, manufacturing and defence. Core services provided by the company include: • Bespoke 3D models of equipment, vehicles, buildings and real world environments and locations. These can be supplied in a wide range of formats ready to be integrated into 3rd party simulations and applications. • Development of bespoke, highly accurate and realistic virtual environments for driving simulators. These can be used for research, trials and Connected Autonomous Vehicle systems testing and development. • Interactive simulation and 3D visualisation applications. For example, a railway “cab view” product that integrates with existing simulations to provide a realistic and fully featured view out the front of the cab as would be seen by the driver. This can be used to support research into infrastructure changes, manage risk, understand driver behaviour and support training and route learning. • Virtual Reality application development. All services are bespoke to clients requirements and can be used to provide realistic experiences to support research. For example: a) Virtual reality level crossing experience to evaluate relative safety of different crossing designs, b) Virtual Reality walkthroughs and configurator tools, where stakeholders or clients for a new building, marine vessel or otherwise expensive and complex design can experience the finished product at scale, provide feedback and compare different options as appropriate. c) Virtual Reality training modules where trainees experience tasks they are to perform in a safe environment and are able to practice in situations that might otherwise be dangerous or difficult to do in the real world, thereby provide highly valuable training leading to faster knowledge gains and longer knowledge retention. The company is looking to grow across Europe and beyond and is offering potential partners their capabilities through either an outsourcing agreement or as a subcontractor under a subcontracting agreement. It is willing to consider partners from any sector given the wide application of its services. However, it is particularly interested in working with OEMs to develop training simulation solutions for expensive equipment and machinery
Type (e.g. company, R&D institution…), field of industry and Role of Partner Sought:
This UK company would prefer to work with OEM partners and those in the construction, infrastructure, transportation, defence, local authority and other government sectors. They are however willing to consider partners from other sectors. Ideally potential partners will not have their own in-house capabilities. It would like to work with partners under an outsourcing or subcontracting agreement.
