Description:
A UK company specialising in the design and manufacture of materials handling equipment is looking to enter into distribution agreements for the sales of its innovative pallet strap removal system. This system automatically locates, cuts and removes the plastic strapping from multiple stacks of pallets. Predominantly installed in brewing and beverage production sites, the pallet de-strapping system safely removes the plastic strapping holding multiple stacks for pallets which are then used to hold crates, trays and boxes of cans, cartons and bottles of drinks. The system can also be used in many non-food organisations - any company which has multiple stacks of pallets could benefit from this system. This innovative system offers the user many production and safety benefits over manual de-strapping. Manual de-strapping can be a high safety risk to the operative, as the strapping is held at a high tension to secure the goods on the pallets. When cut, the strapping is sharp and can whip out randomly, often causing lacerations to the operative. This system eliminates that safety risk. The automatic system is more efficient than manual operation. The system can de-strap stacks of pallets up to 3 metres high and as quickly as 60 seconds per pallet and can operate around the clock. It can be quickly and easily installed into a new or existing production line with minimal down-time. The system contributes to the recycling efforts of the owner by reducing the plastic into granules, which can then be integrated into a recycling programme. The system can vary the size of the granules to match the company's recycling requirements. The company is looking to enter into distribution agreements with companies experienced in the materials handling industry and with possible connections to breweries and beverage manufacturers in their country.
