Summary:
The UK SME has developed a low capital, cost-efficient hydrogen generator suitable for incorporation into autonomous solar installations, scaleable for larger installations and for use with ICE (internal combustion engines) as an emissions reduction unit including marine diesels. They are now looking for worldwide cooperation with organisations who can manufacture and/or distribute their device to market.
Description:
A UK SME has developed an exciting technical innovation in efficient low cost green hydrogen generation. The hydrogen generator was developed over a period of 12 years as an academic exercise. The unit in its present form represents the combination of various scientific disciplines combined. The innovation that has been developed is a low capital cost efficient hydrogen generator suitable for incorporation into autonomous solar installations, scaleable for larger installations and for use with internal combustion engines (ICE) as an emissions reduction unit including marine diesels. A working prototype of the unit will be ready for demonstration in May 2021. Due to the secret know how and pending patent/s filed for in the UK, clients who are interested in learning more about this profile will need to sign an non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before further sensitive information can be exchanged. They would like to cooperate with both manufacturing and distribution organisations who can help with production and also sales of their hydrogen generator.
Type (e.g. company, R&D institution…), field of industry and Role of Partner Sought:
The unit is already attracting interest from various parties worldwide. A collaboration contract is due to be signed shortly for a project to retrofit the unit to large marine diesels. They are now looking for worldwide production and distribution partners. Particularly organisations with a background and experience in solar energy applications (existing and new markets), manufacturing and sales. There are niche market opportunities for the solar industry. Emissions control for ICE (Internal Combustion Engine).
