This UK SME specialises in automated waste solutions for onboard ships. The company has expertise in building specialist equipment that breaks down sewage, organic kitchen waste and grey water. Together with manufacturing port treatment systems for treating waste from ships for open engine scrubbers, sewage waste, oil treatment and bilge water without the need to take it from site. The employees have over 15 years of experience (through work with their sister company) in the wastewater treatment sector and substantial experience in designing and constructing organic waste treatment systems such as biomass converters. These converters are designed for use with specific waste streams, such as food waste, animal and equestrian waste, non-treated sewerage, through to narcotics and explosives. The core teams consist of four directors and a team of technical engineers. The client has significant experience of working internationally with notable projects in the United States and the Middle East. The offering client seeks to grow their knowledge on harvesting of hydrogen and its ongoing uses. The desire to expand this knowledge stems from the company’s expertise in dealing with waste onboard ships. The client is interested in all geographies and primarily commercial agency agreements as the partnering format. Partners will have connections or clients in the shipping, port management and port waste sectors. The client’s internationalisation aim is to expand its network of high quality, international, sales and solution partners to increase the penetration of its solutions in the cruise ship and marine sectors.

The offering client aims to partner with an SME with 11-100 employees under a commercial agency agreement. Approved partners will be provided with comprehensive knowledge and support from the offering client. All partners would be expected to leverage existing connections or clients in the shipping, port management and port waste sectors; referring leads and earning commission as a result of a commercial agency agreement. Partners would be responsible for liaising with local clients, supporting throughout construction and providing local knowledge. The ability to obtain local funding grants would also be beneficial. Whilst partners will not require specialist knowledge of effluent treatment solutions, it is expected they will bring localised expertise of local and regional shipping, port management and port waste. Or have knowledge and experience in complementary sectors which could benefit from the effluent solution on offer for example, cruise ships, with challenges associated with effluent waste treatment.
