Description:
This UK SME (based in Mid Wales) designs and implements solid and fluid effluent treatment solutions for abattoirs and the meat processing sectors. They have expertise in building specialist equipment such as Dissolved Air Flotation systems (DAFs) and rotary screens to remove particulates which can then be put into aerobic digesters. As well as delivering bespoke solutions they frequently re-engineer existing equipment and processes. Their systems convert effluent streams from processing plants into a water discharge that can be returned to the water-cycle with acceptable impact on the environment. Other solutions focus on waste to energy and waste to inert material. The employees have over 15 years through work with its sister company of experience in the wastewater treatment sector and substantial experience in designing and constructing organic waste treatment systems such as biomass converters. These converters are designed for use with specific waste streams, such as food waste, animal and equestrian waste, non-treated sewerage, through to narcotics and explosives. The company has successfully implemented solutions in several poultry farms across Europe. The core teams consist of four directors and a team of technical engineers. The company has significant experience of working internationally with notable projects in the United States and the Middle East. The offering company aims to partner with specialist SME companies from all geographies (except Russia and India) that supply compatible products or professional services to abattoirs and the meat processing sectors to become value-added solution partners or commission-only sales partners. Partners will be sales and/or solution partners in order to drive local sales as well as, support technology implementation to suit customer’s needs and operations. Ideal partners will also have some expertise in waste and effluent treatment and knowledge of local discharge regulations and specifications for abattoirs and meat processing plants. Commercial agency agreements are sought as they will bring a wealth of local market knowledge and experience, enabling the offering company to more effectively target a broader range of abattoirs and meat processing plants. The company’s internationalisation aim is to expand its network of high quality, international, sales and solution partners to increase the penetration of its solutions in the meat processing sector.
Type (e.g. company, R&D institution…), field of industry and Role of Partner Sought:
The offering company aims to partner with SME 11-100 employees supplying compatible products or professional services to the abattoir or meat processing sectors to become value-added solution partners or commission-only resellers. Approved partners will be provided with comprehensive support from the offering company. All partners would be expected to leverage existing networks and expertise to connect customers with the effluent treatment solutions on offer; referring leads and earning commission as a result of a commercial agency agreement. Solution partners would require a high level of sales expertise whilst, providing consultative support to customers around the technical implementation of the effluent treatment into each businesses’ operations. Whilst partners will not require specialist knowledge of effluent treatment solutions, it is expected they will bring localised expertise of local and regional abattoirs and meat processing plants that requirement innovative effluent treatment solutions. Or have knowledge and experience in complementary sectors which could benefit from the effluent solution on offer for example, animal farms with challenges associated with effluent treatment.
