Description: 
This UK SME (based in Mid Wales) designs and manufactures pipe support systems. They supply major tier 1 and 2 companies and export on a worldwide basis. Their pipe supports are used to meet many different requirements in the nuclear, petrochemical, power generation, oil & gas, offshore, construction, pharmaceutical, energy from waste and allied industries. Manufacturing specialisms include: • Variable and constant effort spring hangers. • Dynamic supports such as rigid struts, sway braces and hydraulic shock arrestors. • Isolation equipment to deliver reduction in noise and vibration, whilst also preventing bi-metallic corrosion. • Insulated supports can be supplied to suit a large range of temperatures from -260°C to 1000°C (rryogenic & hot pipelines). • A wide range of fabricated pipe supports / ancillary Items to suit all applications. • Secondary steelwork supports for pipe support systems. Engineering capabilities include: • Full design and detail of pipe support assemblies. • Site surveys. • Product design and development. • Preparation of design and fabrication drawings. The client has 30 years of experience in the pipe support sector and is one of only a few companies in the UK working in this specialist area. The client is experienced in maintaining international partnerships and currently has formalised relationships with agents and partners in nine countries. The core teams consist of Senior management, experienced technical engineers, sales engineers, QEH&S manager, factory manager and personnel, procurement, IT, finance, and clerical. The offering client aims to partner with all manufacturing and construction sectors from all geographies that supply compatible products or professional services (engineering design) to the power generation and allied industries and other process industries, to become value-added solution partners, commission-only sales partners or subcontractors. Partners will be sales and/or solution partners in order to drive local sales as well as, support technology implementation to suit customer’s needs and operations. Ideal partners will also have some expertise in industrial pipe technologies and pipe support systems. Commercial agreements are sought as they will bring a wealth of local market knowledge and experience, enabling the offering client to target the overseas process industries more effectively. The offering client is also interested as acting as a sub-contractor for new partners supplying pipe supports and systems to the specifications required by the contracting partner. The client’s internationalisation aim is to expand its network of high quality, international, sales and solution partners to increase the penetration of its pipe support solutions in the process industries.

The offering client aims to partner with all manufacturing and construction sectors from all geographies that supply compatible products or professional services (engineering design) to the power generation and allied industries and other process industries, to become value-added solution partners, commission-only sales partners, or sub-contractors. Approved partners will be provided with comprehensive support from the offering client to understand the product range and services available. All partners would be expected to leverage existing networks and expertise to connect customers with the pipe support solutions on offer; referring leads and earning commission as a result of a commercial agency agreement. Solution partners would require a high level of sales expertise whilst, providing consultative support to customers around the specification and selection of the pipe support technologies into each businesses’ piping projects. Subcontracting partners would need to be securing and delivering projects requiring pipe supports and looking to contract externally (with the client) for the manufacture and supply of pipe supports. The offering client wants to build a good and prosperous relationship with an overseas agent/partner to increase revenues on both sides, this will be achieved by maintaining continuous communication and jointly analysing the market sectors.
