Summary:
The Ukrainian R&D institute which cooperates with the local community is offering a system of rotation of crops and soil for growing agricultural products. The main advantage is natural support and restoration of soil and high-quality products without the use of mineral fertilizers. The institution is looking for partners to work under a joint manufacturing agreement, as well as for investors to complete a financial agreement.
Description:
In contemporary agricultural sector, numerous sorts of crops are being grown intensively within the same square of ground during many years. In many ways, it is connected with the deficit of productive soils. Re-utilization of the same squares leads to degradation of soils and their quality in particular. To cope with such problem, many countries of the world try to batten soils with different types of chemical additives, i.e. pesticides, fertilizers etc. However, these efforts also frequently result in degeneration of quality of the soils needed to grow crops. Unlike many countries, Ukraine does not face the issue of the soil deficit, and therefore can provide crop areas for agricultural production. Thus, it is possible to provide the business partner with a square of ground for producing particular types of crop without neglecting the quality of soil. Therefore, the Ukrainian R&D institute together with the local community offers using its soils under the system of rotation of crops. In order to control the changes of the humus content of the soil and to prevent narrowing thereof to the level of the soil degeneration, the institution offers the method of eight-stage rotation of soil with the constant augmentation of the humus table in the soil based on the transformation of the organic material into the soil. For the period from 5 to 30 years, the humus content of the soil augments from 0,1 to 1,0 units when the eco-friendly production is being used. The application of such system provides the possibility of growing one single type of crops on the same square of ground which in its turn is the most profitable for the business. The following types of soil contain the optimal humus table: ordinary deep black soils - 4 – 6% (144 – 216 t a.i. ha), Southern black soils – 2,5 – 3,5 % (97 – 126 t a.i. ha and dark brown alkaline soils – 1,5 – 2, 7 % (59 – 105 t a.i. ha). The R&D institute is looking for investors to develop the technology via financial agreement and is also interested in completing manufacturing agreement with companies eager to partake in growing crops with the help of system proposed.
Type (e.g. company, R&D institution…), field of industry and Role of Partner Sought:
The Ukrainian R&D institute is looking for foreign investors to complete financial agreement for further development and implementation of the system. The conclusion of the manufacturing agreement is also being considered. For the former, the role of the Partner is to invest in developing the system in the agricultural sphere. For the latter, the Partner should be a foreign company interested in growing crops with implementation of the technology offered.
