A wearable continuous learning environment

An innovative Italian company located in North West Italy is specialized in smart wearable devices and in providing intuitive mixed and augmented reality solutions needed to more effectively train employees and improve efficiency, safety, and accuracy in mission-critical context. The company has developed a Ready2Use communication platform integrated with wearable devices to drive and manage any kind of Work-Flow field by enabling hands-free real-time collaboration among productive resources. Operators can benefit from both live support approach and a full set of tools for inspection checklists. The SME is interested in commercial agreements with technical assistance with partners or end users such as: manufacturing firms, service providers, utilities. In detail, the platform provides the field manager or the production owner with a powerful tool to access in real-time to a live remote support, or any other kind of information, such as technical documentation, without the use of hands and without distractions during operations in the environment. Through a proprietary platform, the system connects (through audio videos) the field manager with a remote mentor who will support field activities. Thanks to a user friendly access to the Web Application, the remote mentor can guide the field manager during his/her activity through augmented reality tools by watching the operator view field. At the same time, a powerful work instruction engine, provides the field operators a procedural support based on the specific task, that can be reported in real-time on the platform as a certification of the activity performed. Moreover, the platform enables training on the job activity benefitting of actual maintenance experience sharing it with junior operators in the training room.
