Summary:
A Ukrainian Institute is involved among other things in the development of software for opto-electronic devices for the detection, tracking and identification of objects. The University has scientific-technical and material base for research and is looking for long-term partners under commercial agreement with technical assistance, technical or research agreement.
Description:
The Institute was created in 1988 as a new structural unit of the most prominent University in Ukraine. Since 1998, the Institute actively conducts scientific, technical research in the military-technical field, in particular, it is engaged in the development of software with unique algorithms for compact object image formation (object image size is one KB) for image recognition systems formed in optical, radar and infrared ranges. Now, the development of opto-electronic systems relates to the tasks of building an automated complex system of long-range optical-digital intelligence. The Institute development the automated optical-digital reconnaissance complex is designed for detection, monitoring and identification of fixed and moving military / civilian objects at medium and long (up to 20 km) distances, determining their coordinates, issuing data on them in daylight and nighttime. The complex has a portable mobile structure and does not include radiating devices and means. Observations are made in the optical range. Designed and manufactured taking into account probable conditions of combat use. The complex uses visible and infrared photodetectors, electronic modules for real-time observation of observational data, specialized software for detecting unobtrusive UAV targets, determining their coordinates and transmitting data on them. Contains a unique algorithm for forming images of objects in a compact form (the dimension of the images of objects is one KB). A new element is used in the complex: high precision target tracking (about 20 arcseconds), triangulation method with two observation posts at a distance of 100 m. This allows one to determine the trajectory and speed of the target, to distinguish it from the background of obstacles and artifacts (birds, structural noise). The use of infrared (SWIR) allows detecting and identifying targets in low light conditions in poor weather conditions. The main features of the development of electronic systems is to determine the methods of statistical evaluation of visual observation objects for the purpose of their rapid identification and monitoring. The Institute has the necessary experience of scientific personnel, a highly integrated educational and scientific system and modern equipment for the such research. Areas of use: - the protection territories from illegal crossings technical transport or people; - a visual detection and surveillance; - protection of especially important state and commercial objects; - protection of the perimeter of residential and industrial complexes. The Institute is looking for long-term partners interested in development and distribution of small-scale automated opto-electronic systems under commercial agreement with technical assistance, technical or research agreemen.
